Alison Krauss is one of the richest and most well-known Country Singer who was born on July 23 1971 in the state of Decatur, Illinois in the United States. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. Her first job was in the world of music from a young age. At the age 10 she was a winner in local contests, and then recorded her first album. The year 1987 was when she released her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. Then, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings with. The first album she released as a collective with this band was released in 1989.
